My Work

In addition to my clinical work, I have spoken regularly at school parent nights, assemblies, community events and have hosted several workshops. These opportunities have allowed me to share my knowledge and passion with a wider audience. My approach to speaking and teaching is interactive and engaging, creating an atmosphere where individuals feel comfortable and supported. By sharing my experiences, I hope to inspire others to take action and make positive changes in their lives.

EMDR therapy is a structured and effective treatment for individuals struggling with various mental health concerns, including trauma, anxiety, and depression. I have been trained in using this approach to help clients work through their challenges and find greater peace and well-being. I take a client-centred approach, working collaboratively with each individual to identify their unique needs and goals and develop a customized treatment plan to best serve them.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) work, is a therapeutic approach that helps you understand and embrace the various parts of yourself. Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, or relationship issues, IFS provides a roadmap for navigating life's challenges. Imagine getting to know the characters in your own story—with compassion and curiosity, IFS guides you towards healing and lasting change. Explore the wisdom within, cultivate a more compassionate relationship with yourself, and start your journey to greater self-awareness and emotional well-being with Internal Family Systems. I attended Clinical Applications of Internal Family Systems with Frank Anderson and utilize methods from this training in my work.
I recently attended an introduction into Hakomi. The Hakomi method is a gentle and holistic approach to psychotherapy that combines mindfulness, somatics, and non-violence to explore and transform unconscious patterns and beliefs. Rooted in the idea that our bodies hold valuable information about our emotional experiences, Hakomi fosters self-discovery by mindfully exploring the present moment and the body's sensations. I utilize basic techniques learned in this training.

The goal is to empower you to navigate life after trauma with resilience and a renewed sense of purpose. We work together to build psychological flexibility, so you can live a life that reflects the person you want to be, even after difficult experiences.
